Mindfulness Trainer & Systemic Coach

Mindfulness training to arrive in the moment. Systemic coaching to find your way forward.

Free Mindfulness Training for Athletes & Esports Athletes.

I'm currently offering a free 8-week mindfulness and mental performance program to a small number of athletes and esports players. In exchange, I ask for an honest testimonial and your participation in a short pre/post assessment, as I'm gathering data to scientifically track the effectiveness of the intervention. Whether you compete in traditional sport or esports, this is a chance to train focus, clarity, and composure under pressure — the same skills used by professional athletes worldwide — at no cost. Spots are limited. If you're interested, reach out and let's talk about your goals.

I work with individuals, athletes, and groups who are ready to look inward — and do something meaningful with what they find there.

Based in Lisbon, I bring together mindfulness training, mindfulness-based systemic coaching, and a deep grounding in sports science to help people live and perform with greater clarity, presence, and intention. My approach is secular, evidence-based, and deeply human — shaped by years of personal practice, silent retreats, and a lasting engagement with the wisdom of Buddhism and Stoicism.

I do not offer quick fixes or ready-made answers. I offer a practice, a process, and a presence — and the conviction that the most important journey any of us can take is the one that leads us back to ourselves.

What Clients Are Saying

“I reached out to Magnus when I needed to figure out the next step in my professional life - I was at a crossroads and needed guidance to follow a path close to my purpose. He took on the challenge with great engagement and  understanding and I instantly felt a deep empathy from him, which helped me further to trust him and trust the process. We had an initial talk that followed with an exercise, which I gladly followed - it just helped me to get out of my mind and get in touch with my gut. He asked insightful questions that led me to a clearer path and deepened my understanding far beyond what I expected from the session. It was a real joy working with him! He brought a warm, welcoming atmosphere together with intuitive guidance and a highly professional, well-structured approach.”

— Katarzyna, Digital Marketing Specialist

“I came to Magnus feeling stuck — going through the motions without really knowing why, doing the things I thought I was supposed to be doing but feeling increasingly disconnected from any of it. What stood out from the first session wasn't advice or a five-step plan — it was the quality of attention he brought to the conversation. He asked questions that made me stop and actually notice things about myself I'd been running on autopilot for years. Over the following sessions, we worked through some of those patterns together, and for the first time it didn't feel like therapy or problem-solving — it felt like genuinely understanding myself better. I left with real tools, not just insight, and I've kept using them since. Grounded, honest, and genuinely useful — exactly what I needed, even if it wasn't what I expected.”

— Jakob, Sales Manager

“As an athlete, I'll admit I was skeptical that 'mindfulness' would translate into anything I could actually use in competition. I'd tried a meditation app before and it never stuck — too vague, too disconnected from what happens when the pressure is actually on. Working with Magnus was different. Every session gave me something concrete: a specific technique, a way of noticing what was happening in my body before a big moment, a way to reset after a mistake instead of spiraling. It wasn't abstract self-help — it was training, the same way I'd train any other part of my game. Months later, I still use what I learned, and I've noticed a real, measurable difference in how I handle pressure and recover from setbacks during competition.”
